Park is excellent, however the new owners and staff are not customer oriented (see below). Electric is not included in the monthly rate, cable is extra. So for the $420 site fee (for water and sewer)plus $30 cable fee plus electric which is metered (ours cost us $60, an overcharge in our book)= $510 approximately, the campground was NOT worth it. Our site, in the newer section, was level, but we had asked for shade - not trees - and be close to the pet walk - NOT. So we walked our pet on the river park - which was beautiful, except for the droppings of other pets that had not been picked up, or the fact that other owners let their pet off leash in the area. Also, our electric meter was broken and was not discovered until our checkout. Instead of coming to an equitable solution, since we did not use our AC, and ran fridge and water heater on propane, we felt that $60 was way too much for the 3 weeks we spent there. The owner said the meter was read and that was what we owed. You could not argue with him. He did not care that it was broken. We paid, but we won't be back. Note:We had paid for electric at another park and the rate was the same 12 cents KW and it was $15 there - and we used the AC at that park. Just be cautious when staying there.

Great park on the west side of S.A., even though the WIFI is not free (Tengo), cable and electric are included in the site fees. Staff and campers are friendly.Dog walk area is fenced and usually clean. Only one incidence while we were there of a pet being off leash. A great walking park as it is all paved, as are the sites. Will return on our next visit to the San Antonio area.

The park has a great location - on the Gulf of Mexico. Staff was friendly and helpful. While the WIFI was not great while we were there, they were in the process of upgrading. They have some newer pull thru sites that are wide and paved. We didn't really miss having cable, even though we do not have satellite, as we picked up aome Houston stations for the weather report we needed. We enjoyed our stay and will stay there again when we are in Galveston again.

Great park with one or two problems: blind side back-ins and narrow streets which made backing in a problem. Luckily there were no RVs parked across from us! Staff was not overly friendly or knowledgeable: asked for a place to eat and they could not tell us. But they did adjust our daily rate to a weekly rate when we decided to stay 7 nights instead of 4. Laundry was clean and neat. We will probably go back, but request sites away from the highway noise and one easier to get into.

A beautiful Park. Water view from most sites. Staff is friendly. Park is gated so you need a code after hours. Park is clean. Negative: most back in sites are blind side back ins. The staff knows it and apologizes and will help you. They said that who ever designed the park must not have know anything about RVs. We will return - already did. We stayed there on the way south and the way back north.

This park is okay for an overnight on the way to someplace else. Park is clean but is occupied by monthly or permanent guests. We have used the restrooms in the past, but not on this trip. They were clean at that time. Sites are short - we have a 34' 5W + 350 Ford Dually Crew Cab. We filled the site. We stay here as it is on the short cut to Dallas, where we visit relatives.

Park is clean and neat. The nicest park on our trip. We stayed the week as there is much to see in the area. People are friendly - workers and campers. There is a charge for WIFI with "tengointernet". We would stay there again if in the area.

We stayed 4 nights at this park. The sites are close together; when we put our slide-out out, the neighbors entry door was less than 3 ft away. We have a Ford 350 dually and had difficulty parking. The trees need trimming in places as we had difficulty in leaving the park without driving down the center of the roadway. WIFI was located in the office and we were unable to use because we were not around when the office was open. We visit relatives each year and stay at this park because it is the only one in the area. We would not continue to stay there if there was another park in the area.

Park has shared utilities for the pull-through sites and the site we were in was not even 20 ft from the next site. There was no picnic table. There was a small patio. The back in sites were further from one another and had more space for parking. It looked liked the bulk of the sites were for monthly or longer stays. The park is not "new" as stated in their ad. There were other parks - though further out of town - that were, in our opinion, better parks. We were disappointed in our stay and will stay at another park should we return to the area.

We spent 4 nights. Park is clean - sites were adequately spaced - and except for the weather, we enjoyed ourselves. It is a private park and located within a city/state park. WIFI was limited, but the owners were very helpful. The towers are not located in areas that they are over the RVs but on the same level. The laundry room needs improvement. While they have some new equipment, some of the other pieces were rusty or not in working order. We would return to this park and find another location to do our laundry.
